Having now published the book and spoken to countless numbers of people about it is becoming clearer how significant the campaign was in 1999-2002. The contractors campaign was very much one of the godfather internet campaigns, no one had done anything like it before.
What I didn't realise was that the story goes beyond contracting and contractors. It is a story about the fight against IR35, but it is more than that. There is also a great deal of understandable pride from those who took part in campaign.
It is not about today's PCG, this story ended 10 years ago, but it is about how the story began and I hope todays PCGers will read it, celebrate it and learn from it.
